Welcome back Graham!
Always amazes me how short people’s memories are and how they should think more deeply about who they vote for, the ramifications of and the importance of that vote.
Anybody who is gullible enough to fall for this buffoons ‘New Emporer’ approach and returns Labor/Rudd at the upcoming election is simply giving the leadership to that two-faced prick Bill Shorten AND thus will be party to consigning this great country to the red for a very long time both in terms of the surplus and the politics.
Unfortunately politics attracts people who simply get off on the power kick, it’s nothing new, as Lord Acton stated in1887;
“Power tends to corrupt, and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Great men are almost always bad men.”
Rudd personified minus the great tag!!!!
You know, I’ve never heard the second half of that extract from Lord Acton – the “Great men are almost always bad men” bit.
But then they say people can only handle so much truth!
Yeah, but as for Labor now – after being so strongly behind Gillard for so long – to change the PM and then a whole bunch of other things…. I mean, its so rapid….. if these were such good ideas, why weren’t they doing them 4 weeks ago? If Kevin Rudd is a true Leader, then why wasn’t he brought back in earlier?
I liked Kevin Rudd from a distance, but his “popularity” with the voters is no reason to vote him in as PM. At least I hope people would be requiring more than that.
